One of the driving forces behind my photography is documenting and preserving the memory of open and untouched land. It's harder than it seems to find areas without telephone poles, houses, roads, or other signs of human development. I find it incredibly soothing to come across vast landscapes like this one. The soft warmth. The quiet.
This particular area was recently sold for housing development but I will always remember it as the hundreds of golden acres of winding pasture and grazing land.
